Join the Worldwide Campaign Against Crimes of the Islamic Republic!

The Islamic Republic of Iran is on its feet only by continuing its crimes, by executing and stoning, by taking to prison and torturing.

To protect itself from huge protests of the people in Iran and around the world, this regime is committing more and more crimes! Just like an injured snake!

- We now know that in few days, and to induce terror, regime will execute in Tehran 20 protesters arrested at the recent rallies against gas rationing.

- Danger of stoning of Makrameh Ebrahimi is serious. At any moment she and few other prisoners who have the same verdict might be stoned to death.

- Now that her verdict has been re-approved, execution of Shahla Jahed is imminent.

- All the adolescents sentenced to death, including Mossleh Zamani in Sanandaj’s prison, are currently seriously under the threat of being executed.

- Mansoor Osanloo and Mahmoud Salehi are imprisoned for participating in the protests of First of May or other workers protests.

- Sheis Zamani and Sadigh Karimi (workers’ leaders) and 11 other workers in Sanandaj whose “crime” was to participate in the rallies of First of May, are presently on trial. Imprisonment and torture are waiting these 13 workers.

- There are many teachers who are put on probation and are waiting more unjust rulings.

- Tens of bus drivers of the “Vahed Company” have been fired and are waiting to be tried.

This is a long list!

There is only one effective way to confront such criminal and barbaric regime: Mass protest. Protests in Iran and around the world!

Thus far, extensive international protests have been able to save lives of many in Iran and forced the regime to back off considerably. The Islamic government currently is in weak and fragile position and is taking these barbaric measures because of its fear from the people.

To confront this new wave of terror and murder planned by the Iranian government, an international move needs to be performed. We are asking all progressive and human rights activists, all organizations and all freedom lovers to join this international and worldwide campaign.

Remember, it was only after worldwide protests of freedom lovers all around the world that Louise Arbour, the UN High commissionaire for human rights, along with the provisional head of the European Union, condemned Iran for stoning Jafar Kiani. We are announcing today to these two organizations i.e. European Union and the UN, that: “This is not enough. You should ask for an official and public annullation of the stoning law!”

We have to tell the parliament and governmental representatives of Sweden, Austria, Norway, Switzerland and Italy….etc that: “It is not enough that you have asked for annullation of death sentences of Kobra Rahmanpoor or some other teens. Nullification of all the death sentences should be asked.”

In a radio interview, the secretary of the International Federation of Transportation Workers has said that if Mansoor Osanloo is not freed, all international worker organizations will hold manifestations all around the world to guarantee lives of militant workers as well as syndicalism.

If there is a protest against the arrest of Osanloo and Mahmood Salehi, we should tell all the syndicates of the world that: “You should ask for a ban on arrest and trial of leaders and activists of the worker movement in Iran, including Sheis Amani and Sadigh Karimi and the 11 other workers who were arrested on May first in Sanandaj.”

To advance these goals and to succeed, come to the battle. The Islamic Republic can not stand our protests and we have proved this many times.

The Worldwide campaign Against Crimes of the Islamic Government will start its activities by holding meetings, manifestations and protests in front of parliaments and regime’s embassies, By meeting and putting pressure on parliament’s representatives, by meeting with the head of the European parliament and with Louise Arbour, and by gathering petitions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, we will move forward. Join this worldwide campaign!
